Induscan Academy of Engineering and Skills is a technical training centre for Engineering studies and skill development programmes. Our registered office is situated at Nilambur , Malappuram District, Kerala. This Institute has the credentials of designing, developing and conducting Post engineering/Post diploma Skill development courses since February 2002. By providing professional training, proper exposure and suitable placements, Induscan could develop the real culture of employability and employment for engineering community.
It is true that after completing the engineering studies, fresh engineers face difficulty in taking direct responsibilities in any organization because activities involved in each industry are different from the other. Customized skill training and certification is needed everywhere.
Thousands of Engineers have successfully completed various skill development courses from Induscan since 2002 and they are well placed globally, taking independent responsibilities without any previous experience. They realise that real engineering subjects are practically applicable.
Most of the LSTK/EPC companies in India, as well as abroad, select skilled Technicians, Supervisors and Engineers from Induscan and engage them immediately in direct responsibilities, in place of engineers with minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
Engineers are the people who construct the world. As per the present situation, fresh engineering graduates and diploma holders are not confident in producing any kind of output expected from them by an entrepreneur due to poor employability level. Professional engineering institutions (PEIs) are a natural meeting place between the academic and the industrial spheres, so these institutions have an important role to play in fostering positive relationships between the two. But, it is experienced that University curriculum does not shape the Graduates for Industry Engagement. The academic syllabus is yet to include Industry Relevant Subjects and at present most of the Learning Process is based on DESIGN ASPECTS. For example, an automobile engineer may not be familiar with the trouble shooting of his own car when it breaks down on the way because during the course of automobile engineering, the syllabus gives importance to design performance factors rather than hands on job training. The situation is not different for engineers of other disciplines such as Civil, electrical, mechanical, electronics, chemical, aviation etc. However engagement pattern of Graduates are 90 % for NON-DESIGN AREAS. To quote a few, there will be more opportunity for Employment in Construction, Manufacturing, Effective Plant Running, Servicing, Problem Solving, Operational Performance Improvements, Marketing and Product Developments.
We all know there is a Gap between industry and university. The design oriented approach during University Education hardly relates to the running and operational mode of special industry. Gone are the days when General Engineering Qualified Youngsters are engaged as TRAINEES for various operational areas by Industries. In today’s world of Production and service based engagement for Employees, even the Trainees are expected to be part of production team. Investment in training has almost become a rarity and so gaining Domain Specific Knowledge during working is not the norm in most of the Industries. Every Industry has certain amount of engagements at various levels, but an understanding of the work culture and practices needs to be the criteria for employment.
An engineering graduate of any discipline can take direct responsibility in any organization up on completion of customized skill development courses from Induscan. Induscan Academy of Engineering and Skills has developed the system of employability skill for engineers and diploma holders as early as 2002 with employment guarantee in India for all successful students. Up on completion of engineering studies (Diploma/ Graduation) candidates may register with Induscan for pre admission counselling for their interested fields of skill developments. After pre admission counselling, interested candidates shall submit application either for Skill Level 2 or for Skill Level 3 course as explained below.
SKILL LEVEL 2 (Supervisor) When any Diploma holder opts for Skill development in their particular discipline such as Skilled Supervisor Civil, Skilled Supervisor Electrical, Skilled Supervisor Mechanical, Skilled Supervisor Electronics & Communication, Skilled Supervisor Automobile, Skilled Supervisor Agriculture etc, they shall undergo Module 6.1 and 6.2 for their interested subject to be fit for employment. Duration of Module 6.1 and 6.2 together is 180 days with 40% theory and 60% practical classes with assured placement.
SKILL LEVEL 3 (Engineer) When any engineer opts for Skill development in a particular discipline such as Skilled Engineer Civil, Skilled Engineer Electrical, Skilled Engineer Mechanical, Skilled Engineer Electronics and Communication, Skilled Engineer Automobile, Skilled Engineer Agriculture etc, they shall undergo Module 8.1 and 8.2. Duration of Module 8.1 and 8.2 together is 180 days with 40% theory and 60% practical classes with assured placement.
Pre admission counselling (One day) will be arranged in the institute to explain the course content, course benefit, course fee, joining process, methodology of training, stipend, employment, discussions, answer to questions etc. Counselling dates will be published in website as per schedule of batches. Registration fee for counselling is Rs 500/- (Rupees five hundred only). Form of registration for counselling is attached.
Skill Level 2 (Supervisor): Candidates who have completed the 3 year engineering diploma from board of technical education/AICTE are eligible for the pre admission counselling , preferably with their parents. Diploma students of 6th semester also shall attend the preadmission counselling with their parents . Application form of pre admission counselling is available from our website.
Skill Level 3 (Engineer): Candidates who have completed the 4 year engineering graduation of any discipline from AICTE are eligible for the pre admission counselling preferably with their parents. Engineering students of 8th semester also shall attend the preadmission counselling with their parents. Application form of pre admission counselling is available from our website.
Skill Level 2 (Supervisor): The applicant shall have passed the 3 years engineering diploma from board of technical education/AICTE and shall have attended the preadmission counselling at Induscan to get eligibility for course admission. Candidates who have attended the pre admission counselling but have arrear paper in diploma studies shall undergo the bridge course (2 months) to get eligibility for course admission.
Skill Level 3 (Engineer): The applicant shall have passed the 4 year engineering studies under AICTE and shall have attended the preadmission counselling at Induscan to get eligibility for course admission. Candidates who have attended the pre admission counselling but have arrear paper in engineering studies shall undergo the bridge course (2 months) to get eligibility for course admission.
